I also stopped posting online (even on this site) a few months ago (also to save more time for catching up on various things), so it was a nice blast from the past to see your user name appear in my notifications section of this site. I'm glad you're still alive and kicking, but as I approach my old age (yikes, 50 is around the corner), I'm not sure how long I'll be able to kick people in the shins without hurting myself.

Part 1 of 2:
Howdy, Dandy! Of course I remember you.
Yup, I also miss the Zip forum discussions we were a big part of, and now that Redbox is leaving Canada, public libraries are even more important (most Redbox discs had no extras, but library ones do). However, since the Toronto Public Library doesn't have any Blu-rays (actually just 2 or 3, plus ones donated by patrons -- although I think they might buy more DVD/Blu-ray combo packs in the future), I use the Vaughan library for Blu-rays and DVDs (but just for a few more months when I plan to drop my physical disc addiction and just use the Internet for my video entertainment -- due to time constraints).
Hi Pokey! I don't know if you remember me but I was a fellow zip member and forum poster for years... Quit zip in 2012 ish when the service went downhill and they started charging extra for blurays.
I was the guy from Hamilton and we would always get into discussions about blurays and kiosks and how I kept pushing zip to get more of them.
Anyways, I miss those talks and I hope you are doing well. I just found out that zip went belly up today believe it or not. I started getting my fix for blurays and dvds from the Hamilton library believe it or not. It got shocking to see zip get one copy of twilight for example, while the HPL got 20. Cest la vie.
