It mean's if you want it you can have it. Chch has found a better channel.

Nothing, it will still exist on logical channel 11.1, but the physical channel itself is useless for digital television.

Any word on when CHCH will switch to channel 15?

Still no official update when CHCH will move to RF15. Rumors going around that they may not be able to launch on that channel because of a low power digital channel in Buffalo that airs on RF15 and the because of the "unlicensed" station that operates in Downtown Toronto mix messages that he's willing to move out of RF15.

CHCH has started broadcasting a test pattern on channel 15 as of November 15th. Currently its only test screen with multicolor bars on the top and a sold red bar at the bottom with a scroll reading "CHCH HAMILTON RF15" and a PSIP title of "CHCH RF15 Test, Event 19"
