Teletoon Retro French?!

Anyone have any news on whether the French version of Teletoon Retro will ever launch? I noticed that the license for this channel expires at the end of October so hopefully it will be on the air before then. I know that they could apply for an extension but I don't get why it hasn't already launched?

According to an article I came across it appears that Videotron is the reason for the holdup in the launch of this channel. The article is actually from last year and available here: http://www.cyberpresse.ca/article/20...70/1041/CPARTS

Looks like the French version will be very different from the English channel, hopefully Videotron wakes up and decides to carry the channel, perhaps this fall? From what I understand the Teletoon Retro English is doing very well and is quite popular with people even though it doesn't have a lot of different shows.

The french channel going to be launched this september. They announced it today. A preview of the new channel was presented this summer with The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show every weekends starting july 5th at 7pm.
