Bates Motel on A&E

Once again, the Internet (Hulu, etc.) is the source for an advanced look at a pilot TV episode.

I just finished watching the pilot episode of Bates Motel (airs this Monday at 10pm ET on A&E).

I'd give it a solid 8/10.

It took a while to get going, but I was surprised how much it improved as it went along. There was one really disturbing scene, but it was still handled with expertise and also kick-started this series to the next level of intensity.

Apparently filmed in Vancouver, I will definitely be watching the remaining episodes.
