54) World Poker Tour (current Season 14 + older seasons)(Fox Sports 2 and other US regional sports channels, and eventually TSN or Sportsnet will air the current season): I've been watching since the beginning (I like the announcers). I'll even sometimes watch (or listen to) the reruns on Global (currently showing Season 12 - but since I've seen many of these recently, I don't watch many of them via OTA -- NOTE: Global Toronto has now stopped airing WPT episodes as of May 28th (also stopped after April 2nd and then later resumed briefly on May 8th - perhaps Global Calgary is still airing it). Season ended with episode 10, and since none of the remaining episodes interested me enough to (fully) watch them (other than a few parts that I skip-jumped to and finished quickly), I'm now caught up and finished with the series, at least for now.

53) Raised By Wolves (Season 2 is Six episodes) (Channel Four UK): Watched S02 Epis 1 and then all of the first season's seven episodes (counting the separate Pilot episode as the real epis 1). No FF skip-jumping was necessary for any episode, thanks to the clever writing and excellent characters. The only problem is that some of the accents are quite thick at times, so I occasionally needed to RW to figure out what they were saying.

GRADE (for S01 and S02E1): A (8.2/10)

Since the end of the Colbert Report and Jon Stewart left the Daily Show, there isn't a single late night show that I watch start to finish every night, but that's largely because of time constraints. As I've mentioned previously, I'm not a fan of Fallon or Corden. Nothing against Larry Wilmore and Trevor Noah, but after watching them a couple of times each in their first weeks on the air, I didn't find them compelling enough to continue. Back when Conan had his 12:37 a.m. show on NBC, I could watch the whole thing most nights, but the "less edgy" style after his move to L.A. and earlier time slot turned me off a little. It's moved slightly back in the right direction on TBS, and I can watch the monologue and following desk comedy piece most nights (or next day to be more accurate), but not the rest of it. It's the same situation for me with Kimmel, Colbert, and Seth Meyers. Of the once-a-week shows, I'll usually watch John Oliver and Bill Maher if I'm home and remember, or the youtube clips later if I'm not. I'm kind of on the fence with the new Sam Bee show; I think I'll probably put it in the same category as Wilmore and Noah. As your title for this thread points out, there isn't enough time for all of them.

^ There are enough talk shows made to easily fill one's day with short clips from less than half of them. With Corden and shows like it (where multiple guests come out at the same time), I can usually find at least one episode a month that I can watch from beginning to end (although sometimes as background filler for sections of the opening or near end that might drag, or simply flop).

My list also seems to follow the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) pattern, since I know that Australian, British, Irish, etc., shows tend to be uploaded to fewer file hosts, and are often curated by a smaller subset of people, which often leads to fewer active streams/downloads available at a later date. Perhaps 10% of that somewhat limited content might vanish, until it's re-uploaded by a select few individuals. Since I don't use torrents, I have to be careful to follow a set pattern as to what I should focus on first. By watching foreign content first, it also alerts me to other foreign content that I might otherwise not have stumbled across in time to stream from an official channel's website (in case nobody bothered to upload some of the more obscure content that I might be interested in sampling or watching every week).

However, if I knew that I could always get anything I wanted to watch at any time, my Active Watch List would probably be filled with more of the standard American content that I've grown up watching. I would still have a few mindless shows on the list, but there are loads of other shows out there that I know I would enjoy more (I've seen the Pilots, or a few extra episodes, so I know they are good), it's just that they are much easier to find online (based on the number of people and various groups uploading very popular content to gain the most views, thus leading to a bigger payday for them).

Much of the content on my Active Watch List is rather bland in comparison to what I perhaps "should" be watching more often, it's just that at some point, I fully expect to be shut out of the foreign websites, as they move towards a more authenticated viewing process (VPNs less powerful at some point), thus forcing me to rely on the various groups and independent uploaders to keep me current.

53) Hap and Leonard (SundanceTV - airs Wednesdays in America and then Fridays on the Canadian SundanceTV channel)(It's a six-episode season)(I watched the first two episodes - currently available on the American website, using VPN, DNS trickery): A SundanceTV Original series based on the novels by Joe R. Lansdale, starring James Purefoy (The Following), Michael Kenneth WIlliams (Boardwalk Empire) and Christina Hendricks (Mad Men). It drags every now and then, but it seems to be able sustain my interest without requiring frequent moments of FF skip-jumping.

I found both the third and 4th episodes to be very dull, so I had to FF skip-jump my way through, stopping long enough to watch the crazy over-the-top violent sections.

Episode 5 got more interesting, but during the crazy attack scenes, I couldn't help but laugh at the way each scene was staged. One thing after another was thrown into each section, until I started to see this as an over-the-top farcical display of letting it all hang out, reality-be-damned kind of series.

The foley artist work, sound editing, and stunt work were also sub-par and comical looking. Some of the chosen sound effects were far too exaggerated and often didn't match the action on the screen (either ahead or behind), and when a cop is about to be shot, he flinches and falls back even before the gun is fired.

Still, even with all of its flaws, I'm looking forward to the final 6th episode (of Season 1 ... nothing yet on a 2nd season). I don't know what to expect, or how poorly it will all be carried out, but I'm quite sure I'll have a good laugh while the carnage continues.

54) Quantico (CTV, ABC)(current:S1E14): I'm currently up to date with this series, although I'm not a fan of all the jumping around from the past to the present. I suppose that's how you can easily stretch a single story over an entire season, but perhaps it could be orchestrated a bit better. [watched March 23]

Ditto. Since the end of Jon Stewart I find that I couldn't bear to watch The Daily Show anymore, It's not I don't think Trevor Noah isn't funny, but his delivery of the jokes doesn't fit him, and it shows, it was like the jokes where written for Jon Stewart, but the delivery isn't the same with Trevor.

--INACTIVE -- Davina McCall: Life at the Extreme (ITV UK) (4-episode series)(I've seen the first three episodes): The second episode has some nice footage of a rare shark and Davina has a great way of letting the viewer share her exhilarating experiences as she travels the world. GRADE: A Minus (7.8/10)

Episode 3 featured the Arctic Circle and although it seemed rather simplistic at first, Davina's emotional responses and the harsh climate left me feeling captivated for the entire episode, and at one point even claustrophobic as Davina travelled deep inside a glacier. Polar Bears, seals, arctic foxes, etc., were all innocent bystanders as this 45-minute (without commercials) Polar trek unfolded. Great atmosphere and a truly memorable experience. GRADE: A+ (9/10)

Episode 4 was the final episode and it featured the Rain Forest of Costa Rica. Davina bonded with monkeys, held poisonous frogs, and slept in a tree tent during a rainstorm. Just some of the great stuff covered in the episode. GRADE: A+ (9.1/10)

Obviously (based on name alone) this had to make my list, and although it's a rather basic attempt to cover some of the shows airing on UK TV, it's starting to grow on me.

62) Too Much TV (BBC at 1:30pm ET): First airing on Feb 29th, this is a Monday-Friday, 30 minute show about what's on British TV. Featuring TV clips, celebrity interviews and hosted by Emma Bunton (Baby Spice of Spice Girls fame ... she's now 40 years old with two children ... one approaching 5 years old) and 3 other hosts (all 4 hosts rotate as different pairs). It's generally not a very interesting or informative show, but it does manage to cover the basics, while still being just entertaining enough, to keep me tuned in (even though I FF skip-jump through lots of it). The person uploading this to the pirate sites, leaves out the last few minutes, so to see what different TV theme/song that ends each show is, I need to watch it on the BBC website -- although for epis 13 (and probably others), the entire episode was completely uploaded. There will be 25 episodes in the series -- not sure if it's returning. [watched Apr 3]

63) First Dates - Australia (Seven Network): This version of the now popular around-the-world First Dates franchise seems to really be pushing the beautiful people side of the dating world. After viewing the first episode, it's easy to see that cleavage is certainly one of the focal points of these dates, as the camera loves to linger there ... or perhaps it's just me. Hey, my eyes are up here! [watched Mar 13]

Even without the ample cleavage coverage, high heels and slick makeup, the first episode seemed much like a scripted show filled with wannabee models/actors pandering to the audience. I'm not sure if all the episodes will appear as glossy as this one did, but at least I didn't have to FF skip-jump too often. It was a solid, well-produced version of the franchise ... the only weakness perhaps being the less than interesting restaurant staff.

I'm far behind (5 more episodes have already aired), but I'm looking forward to seeing if this version of the franchise ever hits a dull patch like the British version recently has.

64) LA Clippers Dance Squad (E! - Moved to Thursdays 8pm ET in the US and Wed's 9pm ET in Canada - not sure if Zap2It is correct in listing E! Canada now airing it first)(8 episodes): Trash TV, but since it's a "reality" version (although still easy to see how it's all scripted to provide a bitch and all the other components necessary for such a series) of VH1's scripted drama, Hit The Floor, I will most likely tune in to see the boobs, buns, beauty and bimbos parading around in their skimpy outfits. I might have to skip-jump through some of it as I tire of the bad acting (even though it makes me laugh at the obvious stupidity of the whole thing), and as a preventive measure to protect me from possible brain damage.

After watching the 2nd episode, this is clearly the worst show on my list (that "honour" previously belonged to Kocktails with Khloe).

Note: Early Today became INACTIVE because I don't like the returning host (she was on maternity leave) ... she bores me to death. The previous replacement female host had more personality. I need the host(s) to have enough personality and chemistry to keep me coming back for more. I last watched it on March 14th, but after at least a week of the inferior host, I can no longer tolerate it on a consistent basis.

Thus, my Active Watched List will be reduced by 1 ... leaving me with 63 shows on my list. I will now replace Early Today with:

EDIT: Can't stand the series now. That 3rd or 4th episode about farts was awful. Now seems like a one-note series that somehow is now in season 2 and still building steam.

64) Letterkenny (CraveTV, The Comedy Network later on)(Season 1 is six episodes): So far, I've seen the first two episodes and did laugh enough to keep me interested. The fights are badly filmed (too easy to see the missed punches that are supposed to be ones that connect), but I still like watching them (reminds me of the NHL without the ice or brutality). There are many annoying characters and some dull sections, but there are still many more entertaining sections that keep me away from the FF button. It's filmed in Sudbury, and if I had a nickel for every time I enjoyed something filmed in Sudbury, I'd probably have a nickel.

[Letterkenny gets a second season]

According to the stats, the first season of Letterkenny has been on a tear since it debuted on CraveTV last month. So much so that it had the biggest debut of any series on Crave ever, beating out the likes of Seinfeld, Billions, Eastbound & Down, and even old seasons of Canada’s Worst Driver.

Those shows are beauties for sure but there’s no denying that Letterkenny has grabbed the country by the horn to become a household name, giving us a whole new language and a fresh appreciation for small town life. Thankfully, the saga has only just begun as it was announced today that Season Two is a go and will begin shooting in Sudbury this spring.

64) Hockey Wives (W Network): Season 2 resumes with episode 6. I'm glad this isn't like one of those annoying reality shows.
