I finished The People's Couch (US version) 3rd season (was #104 on my previous Watchlist), but the Internet is still filled with plenty of mindless content ... like Billy Bob's Gags to Riches (or as one of the People's Couch cast calls it: Redneck Shark Tank)(Discovery). I need to FF skip-jump through parts of it, but it's so silly, I keep coming back for more.

I just finished watching Season Two's fifth episode of The Fall (just a few skip-jumps were necessary), and based on the tension in the fifth episode, the season finale's 6th episode is shaping up to be a must-watch episode ... it will be about 90 minutes in length, instead of the usual 57 minutes or so (without commercials), so set your PVRs accordingly (though you can still stream the episodes from the Bravo Canada website after they air on Bravo).

Episode 6 will first air on Wednesday Dec 17th (about 4:35pm EST on RTE), followed by BBC2 on Thursday Dec. 18th, and then Bravo Canada on Friday Dec. 19th (I assume at 10pm to 11:45pm or later depending on the number of commercials).

Although the series was first intended to be a 12-part series (rather than 11), the upcoming expanded, 90-minute "11th episode" (S1 five episodes + S2 six episodes = 11 episodes) should be able to tie up all the loose ends and perhaps only hint at a possible third season, without the need for a cliffhanger.

[Gillian hopes for possible third season of the Fall]

Gillian Anderson is hopeful there could be a third series of The Fall.

Appearing on This Morning, the Stella Gibson [her character name] actress revealed ideas for another season have been planned - and that the murder serial drama was originally envisaged to contain 12 episodes. The first run was made up of 5 instalments, with six episodes made for the second series.

"Originally when Allan [Cubitt, writer] wrote - or thought of - the series, he imagined it was going to be a twelve-parter," said former X Files star Gillian, 46.

"So when we ended in an atrocious cliffhanger after the first season, that was always going to be the middle bit.

    12. Trollied (Seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4)(Sky - UK): I've only seen a few episodes from the first 3 seasons, but I have been keeping up with the latest 4th season (I've seen 6 out of the 8 episodes of Season 4, so far). I find it amusing enough to watch it each week.

I finished watching the remaining unaired episodes of Manhattan Love Story, and enjoyed them all. 11 episodes were filmed, 4 aired on ABC, and the rest were dumped to Hulu and ABC.com (New Zealand TV airs the 11th episode next week).

As Canada and the rest of the world prepares to do battle with Netflix and piracy, I no longer have time to post. There are simply too many articles to read, things to watch, and daily living getting in my way.

With Shomi and Crave getting ready to expand throughout Canada, it's time to step aside and ride off into the sunset.

This is truly a wonderful time in television history. I now chuckle every time I read about people using the Internet to access content that is almost too good to be true. The sky's the limit ... at least for this brief moment in time.

It's been a great ride, and the rest is just gravy on top.

Happy Holidays! See ya when I see ya. Cheers.

It's been about 9 months since my last confession/post in this thread. I'm now finally getting closer to my solution.

The problem with having too much to watch and not enough time to watch it all, can't just be about running out of time, or even space to store some of the rare content that might not always be available for free streaming, etc. There are more important questions that I have to ask myself before I'm ready to ignore content ... even if I know that I'll probably enjoy certain things about almost every thing that I'm curious about.

One of the key things that has happened over the last 9 months is that many more cancelled TV shows (such as Longmire or The Mindy Project) are getting a 2nd chance at life, thanks to Netflix, Hulu and the rest of the online streaming services.

I've also noticed that some of the content that I previously watched for free, via VOD on official websites (like Esquire, Fox Sports, etc.), has now moved to either an authentication process (must be a cable/satellite TV subscriber), or is no longer being updated on the various websites with new episodes. That means I either have to watch some content "LIVE" via streaming sites, or pay for some selected episodes, when or if they become available. However, unless the content happens to be something that I simply must watch this week, I'm more likely to just skip it and watch something else.

Almost every TV series will have selected episodes that will appeal to almost everyone, as well as some episodes, or even entire seasons that will be duds. Regardless of that, I'm looking for content that I'm willing to watch uninterrupted, for as long as my body and mind can tolerate, without losing interest for too long.

Since I tend to like thrillers, much more than sitcoms, my Must Watch List will tend to consist of more thrillers/action content than simple sitcoms. But since I'm always looking for variety, I end up stumbling across hidden gems like Playing House (from the USA Network -- not sure if it ever aired on Canadian TV), or even something a little bit different like The Jim Gaffigan Show (TV Land). And then there was the difficult to watch, but still addictive, Happyish, which kept me tuning in each week, partly because it had enough interesting moments and partly because it was a CraveTV exclusive that could still be watched for free from other online sources (pirate booty, if you will).

And then there's the content like First Dates (Canadian version), that I partly watch because it's currently available for free from the Slice.ca website. It's hard to ignore rare Canadian content that might not get deep distribution on the various pirate sites, so I tend to tune in each week, just in case there's something interesting in a particular episode.

Do I care if they keep making new episodes of Castle, even though I still find the time to watch selected episodes? Nope, but I will finally go back and watch the SCI-FI convention episode that I haven't had time to watch, as well as a few more selected episodes, here and there. By being more selective, that will give me more time to watch content that I truly can't get enough of.

Today I will watch a few episodes of Longmire (S3 and the new S4 from Netflix) and then quickly decide whether or not to dump it.

EDIT1: Longmire is not going on my list. I scanned through some of Season 3 and Season 4 (epis. 1, 5, 10). Nothing wrong with them, just not content that I'm willing to watch with so many other things that I'm more interested in.

EDIT2: While scanning through Mr. and Mrs. Murder (S1E08)(Australian 2012/13 TV series)(also not going on my list), I noticed that Robert Taylor (plays Sheriff Longmire in Longmire series) was in it, speaking with an Australian accent. I never would have guessed that he's an Australian ... Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oy, Oy, Oy ! (a cheer often used at Australian sporting events).

I already gave up on the new season of Under The Dome, and after reading the summary of the finale, I doubt that I will ever return.

[Under the Dome finale ... What the hell happened?]

I'm curious to see how fast I can shorten my Must Watch List based on my new frame of mind. Say goodbye to Mr. Selfridge ... I like it, but there's not enough thrills or gunplay to survive my cut. EDIT (Jan 22, 2016): Except that I found some time to quickly FF scan through Season 3 (10 episodes) and thought it was okay. Now I also FF scan through the new Season 4 episodes of Mr. Selfridge.

Let the binging and purging begin! :cool2:

I know it's difficult for a show that's been going since the 1990s to stay good, and I haven't looked up any reviews or other comments, but I can't be the only one who found that first episode of the new season to be a little disappointing. It just seems to be becoming more formulaic and phoned-in, and now like they really couldn't be bothered to come up with an ending that made any sense. How and why did the Syrian refugees, air-cannon launched tacos, Jared from Subway, and the pregnant Mexican women swarming the frat house cause the PC guys to change? Or were they just trying to jam in as many pointless current event and pop culture references as possible to misdirect and confuse people into thinking it made sense when it didn't?

Are you really surprised that an Stephen King adapted novel to television series was going to be great? Just look at all the other television mini-series and tv-movies they've done over the years that where flops...The Langoliers, The Shining (1997), The Tommyknockers and maybe IT, but Tim Curry kind of saved that story. So I wasn't surprised that Under The Dome would be joining that list as well.

Under the Dome was originally supposed to be a one-season series ... but then good ratings gave them a chance to stretch things out for far too many episodes (39 total episodes -- two seasons should have been enough to tell a good story with a satisfying conclusion). I liked it enough at the beginning to keep up with all the nonsense, but then week after week it became too tiresome to follow along. I eventually went back and binge-watched many of the episodes, but by the time the third season rolled around, I had basically had enough. Once I read the reviews of the season 3 finale, I was glad it was all over (although for sheer curiosity, I assume I'll quickly scan through the first two episodes of the third season and then finally call it quits ... RIP Under the Dome).

I finished the South Park PC episode (I watched the uncensored version with all the 25 F-Bombs intact) and was also disappointed by the tacked-on ending. Not sure why Cartman appears to be happy with himself after failing to rid South Park of the PC cultists, and even more annoyed that he mentions that the nonsense he started at the end was good because at least it "started a dialogue." Clearly that was all tongue-in-cheek, and Cartman will always be Cartman (a truly insensitive bastard, whom I love).

The PC cultists didn't actually change at the end. If you look closely at all the fighting and yelling at the end, it appears to me that the PC guys were the ones getting attacked and were simply defending themselves from the refugees and pregnant Mexicans. The PC guys also said that it was a brilliant idea (even though it was actually Cartman's idea to use the stereotypes to instead try to get the PC guys to become politically incorrect by fighting with the refugees and Mexicans) to use all the stereotypes to get a boy (Kyle) to change his opinion about Jenner (even though it does appear that Kyle was obviously lying, simply to stop all the fighting).

So, even though the episode had a scattershot, lame ending, there were still more than enough chuckles scattered throughout, and it was nice to see Bret Favre fake-clapping during the ESPY's footage that I hadn't seen before.

Finally, what really bugs me is the fact that Canadians typically get censored versions (no F-Bombs) of South Park and even At Midnight, and have to use DNS trickery to watch the uncensored versions on Comedy Central or Hulu. The Much (O Canada, you suck) website has the censored version (no F-Bombs) of South Park online, and the Thursday night/Friday morning Extended (extra 10 minutes) and Uncensored episodes of At Midnight don't seem to ever be posted on the official Canadian websites [yet, even the pirate websites have the censored versions of those episodes available for streaming/download the very next day, so it's even more ridiculous that the normally more open (than the USA) Canadian broadcasting system is playing the censored and/or shortened versions online].

Well, the first season of Under the Dome reminded me of a format of an old show : Smallville. Smallville started in a krypton freak-of-the-week format and a running gag of knocking people down on the head everytime they saw something they shouldn't have. Then, they stretched everything for 10 years, adding season-long characters.

Under the Dome started in a "Disaster of the week" format : Firetrucks are gone so let's put a house on fire, let's trash all the pills from the pharmacy because it's apocalypse day, let's throw a missile at the Dome but keep military personnel around, intense wind, intense cold, dome magnifies, crops infestation, acid rain, there's no more electricity but many residents conveniently have solar pannels and a generator...

By the end of season 2, the dome retracts, many houses have been destroyed, there's now a huge unreacheable bottomless pit at the tunnel. Season 3 begins, Julia and Junior go back to the school to get a ladder to cross, with difficulty. Once that scene passed, anyone and everyone for the rest of the season travels in the tunnel like if the pit never existed. And yeah, Junior even held CSI Willow, I mean, Christine, in his arms and I assume he cross the ladder like that. By episode 9, writers figured ratings aren't that good, so let's speed things up and wrap the show : Pregnancy sped up faster than on "Extant", the baby grew as an adult in two days... all that could have been a plot for a long 13-episode 4th season.
We had a good run: 2006 to 2020. Thanks for the informations and debates.

Since fresh and interesting online content pops up almost every day, it's now much easier for me to accept the fact that most new series don't need as many episodes to tell a story (or stories) as are produced. The time it takes to finish an entire series is time taken away from other interesting stories that I don't have time to get to.

Oh look, yet another Netflix series has appeared. Okay new series, you better not drag too much, or start moving in directions I don't want to go, or else I might just skip on by. And then once my interest wanes even slightly, I will often then decide to skip entire episodes, all in my quest to get what I want from viewing as few episodes as possible.

Other than my common technique of FF-scanning through dull parts of episodes, or viewing several jpeg images taken from an episode before watching anything I'm not sure of, I now have a few new techniques that I use to watch online content more efficiently:

    1) Episode Elimination: I start with the first episode and then keep going until I feel defeated by the content (something's missing that would normally propel me forward with little effort). However, once I feel like something is missing, instead of FF-scanning through all the episodes or giving up on the series entirely, I instead power through the series by selecting random episodes to see if I can quickly regain any interest. If not, I move on to the next series, or perhaps jump ahead to the last episode just to feel empowered by my quick finish. By skipping entire episodes and thus investing less viewing time, I can more easily regain my willpower to abort the binge and prepare for the next feast.

Some of the content that I used episode elimination for:

For Jessica Jones (Netflix), I just needed the first two or three episodes and then the final 13th episode. After that, I was satisfied and ready to move on.

For The Man in the High Castle (Amazon), I just needed to FF-scan through the first three or four episodes (it's all a blur), and then the final 10th episode. I'm glad that I skipped ahead to the final episode because I didn't like the ending. Sure, by skipping so many of the episodes, the ending most likely had less impact on me than it normally would have, but as long as I feel empowered by my episode elimination and FF-scanning techniques, I'm okay with the outcome.

Plus, if I later hear about something interesting that I missed due to my binging techniques, I can always go back and quickly watch a bit more of anything that I passed over.

For me, episode elimination is often necessary to separate the wheat from the chaff. The more time I free up, the more powerful I feel. Satisfaction comes much faster and since all (or many of) the episodes of a series are often available for viewing by the time I get to them, it's much easier to get a feel for a sluggish series by eliminating random episodes until I get to the end. However, if I suddenly feel the need to back up and fill in the missing pieces, I can always try an earlier episode.

    2) Jump-starting: When I assume that a series will not be able to either maintain my interest for longer than one episode, or perhaps might not interest me enough to give it a chance to grow on me, I utilize this technique. So, instead of watching the first episode of the first season, I instead wait until 6, 7, or even 8 episodes (or 3 or 4 episodes of a shorter series of 6 or 8 episodes) have aired (or are already available), and then watch one of those later episodes to help me decide what to do next (I might even skip entire seasons and jump-start the series with the first episode of the third season, or whatever season I'm curious about).

By jumping in blind to a series that I don't think I'll like that much, it makes it easier to ignore all of my negative assumptions about something that might take longer to flesh out.

This technique can also be used after I watched the first episode of Season 1, but didn't feel enough desire to watch the next episode, so I then wait until at least 4 or 5 more episodes have aired (or are available), and then I watch one of those later episodes to see if that episode gets me more excited about the earlier episodes that I skipped. I'm basically trying to jump-start my interest like a dead car battery.

Some of the content that I used jump-starting for:

For Grandfathered (Fox, City), I started with the 8th episode, but wasn't that impressed by it (a few chuckles here and there). I also used a few FF-scans to hold my interest, but I'll probably wait until more episodes have aired, before attempting another jump-start. I haven't given up hope just yet.

For The Grinder (Fox, City), I also started with the 8th episode and was pleasantly surprised by all of my laughter. The jump-start technique was successful. I will now go back and watch all of the earlier episodes before watching the 9th episode. I now have faith that The Grinder will be able to hold my interest for at least the first several episodes.

For The Muppets (ABC, City), once again I started with the 8th episode (Chelsea Handler), but was disappointed with what I saw. It wasn't awful, but I certainly don't have the desire to go back and watch all of the previous episodes. However, I will attempt to watch selected episodes based on which celebrities are involved. I'll try the first episode with Elizabeth Banks and some future episodes, like the 10th episode with Echosmith. Curiosity will most likely be the sole reason for any of my Muppet indulgence.

For Limitless (CBS, Global), I watched the first episode and found it to be satisfactory enough to try the next episode, but then never had the desire to do so. So that's why I then needed to use the jump-start technique beginning with the 10th episode. Unfortunately, I didn't like it that much. Too bland for me, which also led to some FF-scanning. I haven't abandoned this ship, but I'll need to try the jump-start technique for a future episode before going back to the 2nd episode and hoping for the best. I like the lead actors, so I refuse to quit after just watching two episodes of a young series.

[Sorry Netflix, Binge-watching is not for me]

It’s with some shame that I admit that I’ve still only watched the first four episodes of Jessica Jones, and it will probably take me several more weeks to get through all 13. I’m sucked in, but I prefer to mix my TV viewing up with a healthy blend of sitcoms, panel shows, hour-long dramas and trashy reality (as well as pointless walks around my apartment, dinners with friends and hours browsing the internet aimlessly).
    ---------

Hmmm, I also enjoy pointless walks around my apartment, browsing the Internet aimlessly, plus some silly game shows (like Pick Me! on ITV) and live sporting events.

Just finished watching the first episode (of 4) of a new UK series called Tripped, and I didn't need to FF past any part of its 37-minute running time.

An alternate universe/action/comedy series that will certainly appear elsewhere once its run ends on E4 (a UK channel).

Full-frontal male nudity isn't something that I would normally find funny, however, each time the nether regions appeared, I eventually found myself smiling and then laughing. There's also something else that comes out of left field that will cause most viewers to cringe as they look away in disgust, but that questionable scene is yet another example of how unsettling situations can often lead to laughter.

    GRADE: B (7/10)

This choosing of what to watch is very, very difficult. People used to complain about having a long Netflix DVD queue of titles that they would struggle to get through, but what happens when the queue becomes filled with all kinds of media? TV shows, movies, music, newspaper articles, podcasts, etc.

I know what shows I want to finish watching, but quite often I like to save the last episode for months, until I'm finally ready to say goodbye to a series that I've enjoyed. I love Humans, but I still haven't watched the last few episodes ... I'm not ready to say goodbye (it doesn't even matter if a second season comes soon or never).

So, what often happens is that I choose to move on and discover new content that I fall in love with, or get addicted to. However, the addiction aspect eventually wears off, and then I move on to other stuff.

What I'm left with is a current or active watch list. In other words, what do I find myself coming back to every week, or every month, either because the content is compelling, or perhaps comforting. We all eat comfort food now and then, even if we know it's not as tasty as other foods we eat, but it's those comfort foods that often settle us down and put us back on track.

So let's see how difficult it is to compile a Current and Active Watch List. There can't be too many titles on it, otherwise, the time taken to watch each show would technically render the other shows inactive ... simply sitting on the shelf for too long. They would get cold and wither away ... unless I decided to put them in the oven to warm them up for a meal.

Best way to do this is to literally keep track of each item as it is watched and then if the series is done, or on hiatus for longer than a month, it drops off the active list. How many different shows can I juggle? Here goes nothing ...

CURRENT/ACTIVE WATCH LIST (must stay active every month):

-- INACTIVE -- Marketplace (CBC) (watched current, season finale, episode OTA on Apr 10, 2016)(A comfort food for me, but it does seem to be slipping in quality.)

The season is over, so this now becomes INACTIVE.
Note: My Active Watch List number will drop by 1, due to this becoming INACTIVE ... but I will make the change in my upcoming next post.

    ---------

--INACTIVE-- Dragons' Den (CBC) (another comfort food of mine)[Note: Current season #10 has ended, but I'm still behind, and even have some older episodes to still watch] (last watched Mar 16 - S10E19)

Becomes INACTIVE due to the 1-month time limit of inactivity.
So my Active Watch List will be reduced by 1, in a later more current post.

    ------

-- INACTIVE -- Intelligence For Your Life (NBC WGRZ Buffalo affiliate) (3:30 am, Tuesday through Saturday - OR 12:30pm Mon-Fri on NBC Harris Penn - via USTVNOW online): John Tesh, his wife Connie Sellecca and her son Gib Gerard (from Gil Gerard marriage) spew facts and studies from all over the world, while making each other laugh. (constantly watching M-F) (last watched April 15)

I've watched practically every day and almost every episode, but now I'm starting to get tired of the rapid fire facts that fill each episode. I learn stuff, but at least half of the facts delivered, either don't really interest me, or have been covered before. Most of the time the hosts will acknowledge that they've covered the content before, but other times, they do not. It's on 5 days a week, with the occasional rerun, but it's time to remove this from my Active Watch List, and instead just tune in perhaps once or twice every two months to see if it can recapture my complete attention.

I still like the hosts and many of the facts that are presented, but my brain needs a break. It's time to get dumb again.

My life needs less intelligence and more of something else.
My Active Watch List will be reduced by 1, in a later more current post, to reflect that Intelligence For Your Life is now INACTIVE.

    -----------

-- INACTIVE -- Early Today (NBC Mon-Friday 4am-4:30am): Another habit that I occasionally skip, but usually not, since it follows Intell. For Your Life. (last watched on Monday March 14)

Although I watched this a few days ago, I no longer like it, so I won't watch it in its entirety (if at all) anymore. That's because the current host, who recently returned from maternity leave, bores me to death. The previous replacement host (also a woman) had more personality. If a host or hosts have little or no personality, or chemistry with a co-host, I lose interest.
Note: My Active Watch List will now be reduced by 1 (in my next new post) to reflect the removal of Early Today.

    -----------

    5) Garbage Time with Katie Nolan (Fox Sports 1 - Wed/Thurs morning 12am, also repeats on FS2)(Fri Feb 5 -special Live Super Bowl version - last episode of the season) ... was on hiatus until May, but now it's back.

While Garbage Time was on hiatus, I replaced it with Katie Nolan's Garbage Time video podcast that appears each Friday (prev was Thursday) on YouTube:
[viewed Latest Podcast Episode 38 -- Watched May 13]

Garbage Time has returned on May 4th/5th midnight, as scheduled, but I count it as one show grouped with the podcast - watched May 19]
    --------

That was simple (but there are more that I'll need to add later). Now, how often do I continue with this menu of fine food? Can these shows stay on the active list, or will they become inactive due to a lack of broadcasts, or a lack of interest? I don't think that a week is a long enough time period to consider something "active" especially since binge-watching a bunch of episodes at once is something that I like to do. I stockpile many shows and they obviously become inactive once I wait longer than a month to resume watching. It doesn't necessarily mean that I've lost interest, but something is keeping me from continuing on, so off the list they will come.

    6) @ Midnight (current uncensored epis. with Aisha Tyler, etc.) (watched on Apr 28)

--INACTIVE-- (Funny or Die's) Billy on the Street [Fuse (former home), TruTV, Showcase, Action] [S1 Episode 8, 6, 5, 9 from 2012 and now S1 epis 10 - last watched on Mar 25]

Ran out of time, so it becomes INACTIVE and thus my Active Watch List will be reduced by 1 in a more current post.
--INACTIVE-- Undateable (City, NBC) (S03E12+13 - Season 3 finale - East and West coast versions - watched on Jan 30 and 31)
(Note: I finished all the Season 3 episodes, and don't care much for the few S1 and S2 episodes I skipped or skimmed through, so this series will most likely fall off my active list after a month has passed.)
UPDATE NOTE: Since I don't expect to be watching any other Undateable episodes within a month's time (the season/series? is over), I'm classifying it as INACTIVE and now the numbering for the shows in the other posts will be greater by one (except for the newer posts with the number adjustment made).

--INACTIVE-- The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore (The Comedy Network, Comedy Central) (Aug 2015 episode with the Playing House actresses - watched on Jan 29)
2ND UPDATE: The Nightly Show... Now becomes INACTIVE since I haven't watched any other episodes in a month (none of the new episodes caught my interest). I will now reduce the numbered list by 1 in my current, last post, to reflect this change.

--INACTIVE-- Conan (CTV, Much, TBS)(Jan 27th episode - Carol Burnett interview) (last watched on Jan 30)

[Note: Although I've seen a few recent interviews, I haven't watched enough of any episode to actually count this as an Active show.]
Note: Active list will be reduced by 1 in my latest post - Mar 4th - due to Conan becoming INACTIVE.

--INACTIVE-- Mr. Selfridge (S4E07 and now 408) (ITV) (last watched with skip-jumping, on Mar 29)

Ran out of time, so became INACTIVE, thus my Active Watch List will drop by 1 in later post.
    12) Made in Hollywood [Syndicated - CBS Harrisburg (Sat morning 2:35am joined in progress on CBS Harrisburg), CBS NY (Sat morning 3:05am), CBS Buffalo (Sun morning), CW Buffalo (Sat Night/Sun morning 1:30am), etc.] (watched on May 21)

--INACTIVE-- Film 2016 (BBC)(Wednesdays)(episode 2 --> Review of Spotlight, etc.,+ has a good Michael Caine interview)(and epis 3 and epis. 1 and epis 4 -- Deadpool, etc. --> last watched on Mar 29)

NOTE: Film 2016 is on now hiatus and will return in Sept or October of this year. Of the 7 episodes, I still need to watch episodes 4-7 and older episodes from previous seasons, so I still might be able to keep this Active until the series returns from hiatus.

Ran out of time, so became INACTIVE, thus my Active Watch List will drop by 1.
    14) Click (BBC ... And also BBC News --> but it's often the shorter version that is aired)(watched on May 22)

    Click -
Mar 12th episode, Fully-controllable 360-degree episode ... just move the picture with the on-screen directional buttons within the YouTube video, or simply use your mouse by clicking and holding the YouTube video as you drag it any direction you want (you'll see a little hand icon, like on a Google Map) ... I chose at least 1080sx50 resolution for a clearer picture ... for full-screen video, simply click on the word YouTube near bottom right corner of the YouTube video once you start playing the video and you will be sent to YouTube, so that you can watch this in full-screen mode:

[Extra Note: You can even pause the video and still move the video in any direction you want, while it's still in pause.]

    -----

--INACTIVE-- American Pickers (History channel) (Recent episode: S14E17 A Few Good Junk Men and some older ones: S06E01,E04,E05 and S07E12-Ryan Newman Bumper cars)(last watched on Mar 29)

Ran out of time, so became INACTIVE, thus my Active Watch list will drop by 1.

    16) Frank Skinner On Demand with ... (BBC iPlayer - uploaded Friday mornings)(Guest discusses three of his/her favourite BBC iPlayer VOD programs.)
(Alex Jones -- watched on May 15)

--INACTIVE-- ES.TV (Entertainment Studios TV - simply recycled interviews and music videos, but I often use it for background viewing, and pay more attention when there's something I haven't seen already, or find interesting, while I surf the net.) (Syndicated: ABC Buffalo WKBW, Sunday morning 2:35am - 3.00am ET, MY 9 WHVL - Harrisburg, Penn., via USTVNOW at various times (Tues AND Wed mornings at 2:30am ET and Thurs and Fri mornings at 2:30am, but the Friday morning episode is a REPEAT of the Thursday morning episode -- and then there is a new episode on Sat mornings at 2:30am ET and sometimes on Sun afternoon at 3:30pm ET whereby the Fri night/Sat morning and Sun afternoon airings are for the most recent new episode). (Sally Field, Ethan Hawke, Henry Cavill - Batman v Superman, etc. - watched Fri. morning April 1 episode on April 1)

NOTE: For some reason, ABC Buffalo has played the same older episode of ES.TV for the last 2 weeks, even though Zap2It lists New episodes that ABC is not playing. So, I had to watch it on WHVL (MY 9) via USTVNOW.

NOTE 2: ABC Buffalo is now a week behind WHVL's new episodes, but at least Buffalo is airing new episodes again.

No new episodes held my interest, so this now becomes INACTIVE,and my Active Watch List will be reduced by 1 in a more current post.
--INACTIVE-- The Flash (S02E11)(The CW, CTV, M3, etc) (Not a fan, but just tuned in to see Amanda Pays - she's from an older Flash series.)(last watched Jan 31)

(Note: Although The Flash will be appearing on Supergirl on March 28th, I doubt that it would make me a Flash fan. I will, however, eventually add Supergirl to my Active list, but not now ... I've only seen the Pilot so far.)
[Note: The numbered list will thus be reduced by 1 in my latest post on March 4.]

--INACTIVE-- The Voice of Ireland (S05E06 and now S05E02) (RTE) (last watched Mar 20)

Ran out of time, so it became INACTIVE and my Active Watch List will be reduced by 1 in a later post.
--INACTIVE-- Trust Me, I'm a Doctor (S04E04 - current episode, S01E01, and now S02E03) (BBC) (now on hiatus, but I still have episodes that I haven't seen, so perhaps I might watch a few more soon)(last watched Mar 26)

Ran out of time, so it became INACTIVE, and my Active Watch List will be reduced by 1 in a later post.

--INACTIVE-- Celebrity Name Game (Season 3 new episodes began today - April 18, 2016)(City M-Fri 3pm -3:30pm is the new episode; WNYO Buffalo 6pm; ABC Dayton, Ohio 9am ET, etc.): Not sure how this made it to Season 3; each episode is so similar, I often jump to the end to see if they win the $20,000 round. I still can't believe they haven't updated the board so that when a name/thing is guessed, it should be darkened or given a checkmark (rather than look exactly the same as the things that have already been guessed), so that it's easier for the contestants to see what clues have already been guessed (once they cycle back), instead of sometimes struggling to see what they have left to do among the clutter of 10 things already flipped over. I'm still enjoying many of the episodes, so it looks like I'll be watching until it's cancelled.

A bunch of new celebrities have been added to the roster, with some returning regulars as well.

On April 27, 2016 - Minnie Driver was one of the celebrities.

On May 6th, 2016 - Sasha Alexander was one of the celebrities.

NOTE: Now there are TWO new episodes each day (started May 2nd, I believe)

[Celebrity Guests: Billy Bush and Kit Hoover (for 2nd show in a row) AND Ross Mathews and Kate Flannery - watched May 19]

Now becomes INACTIVE once again (Mon May 30th, 2016 due to reruns), so 1 will be subtracted to my Active Watch List total, in a later more current post.

Not sure when or if it will return with new episodes.
Had to add these words outside of the quote to get this edit posted.

    22) Kocktails with Khloe (FYI - US and Canada) (Episodes 1 and 2, 3, 4, 7, 12, 11, 13, and now 14): Another fluff interview/play games show with celebs and the Kardashian clan ... skip-jumping was necessary. It's like car crash that I have to keep track of, but some episodes are better than others, usually depending on the guests.
    (watched Apr 28)

NOTE: This series has been cancelled early by FYI (only 2 more episodes will be aired, the final 14th episode will air on Apr 20), apparently due to behind-the-scenes trouble: http://www.inquisitr.com/2984142/koc...ith-i-am-cait/
