    Bell Sat has added Frissons TV in SD only on Ch. 151. I am not sure why they did not add the HD feed, especially since the bulk of the programming on this channel is movies?!

    I wish they would get rid of all the SD feeds of channels, HD has taken hold now (and is slowly being replaced with 4K) so I don't understand why they are still broadcasting 2 feeds of every channel in 2017?? Perhaps the blame should be with the broadcasters who still broadcast two feeds of their channels and for some reason refuse to discontinue the SD feed?!

    The thing is there still tons of SD receivers out there. Bell should give or at leat offer the basic HD receivers to SD custyomers at fre or at least a 50% discount on HD receivers, then they could get rid of the channels that have both a HD & SD feed. Althoughthere some that still only have a SD feed.

    The issue with Bell Sat ids Band width. They onl have a few choices such as:

    1) Take back 72 from Dish as they are only leasing that spot from Bell.

    2) Get rid of at least have there PPV channels?

    3) Convert the SD channels tpo MPEG4 like Dish did giving their Eastern Arc subs new SD MPEG 4 receivers.

    4) Get rid of the SD chabnnels and give subs MPEG 4 Basic HD receivers inexchange for there SD Receivers.

    As for 4K Bell will ned either to convert more band width or get more sat spaces.

    One thing that makes comparisons more difficult is there is different product lines for each company. On Rogers Ignite, pretty much every channel is HD if it has an HD feed. There are a few exceptions that I have found, mostly with the stingray channels and a.side. There probably is some international channels too that are readily available in HD in North America but are not carried but I don't sub to any of them so I don't know for sure.
