Mediaset is actually Mediaset Italia, its an interational service from Mediaset (private broadcaster from Italy). Similar to Rai Italia which is Rai's international channel except this one airs mainly entertainment programming.

As for Euroworldsports, based on ottawasnowdog's description I am wondering if maybe its Eurosport News which is actually on the approved list?! Eurosport News is a sports news channel similar to ESPNews in the US.

Is this a temporary channel for the World Cup or is it a new channel?!

No, according to Rogers, it's actually EuroWorldSports, so it's not Europosrt News. So, it looks to be another Canadian channel. Someone from DH said it was from TLN, so who knows. But it's hard to tell since TLN hasn't released any info on either channel (no press release or even a spot or a mention of either channel on the TLN website).

Update: It apparently is owned by TLN since euroworldsports.ca redirects to TN's website.

Rogers has added NFL Network HD on channel 549 and no surprise that Rogers Sportsnet One will be added to channel 394 in SD and channels 395/584 in HD on Aug 14.

WFN HD will launch on September 2. Rogers will be the first to launch this channel in Canada.

WFN HD will be available to Rogers Cable customers as part of Rogers Sports Theme Package or as an a la carte offering. WFN will continue to be offered in SD. Rogers Cable and WFN are offering customers a free 30-day trial of WFN HD from October 1-30.

playhouse disney is kinda on right now i found it last night by accident, on rogers go to the sports mix (channel 396 in brantford area ) , and what is spouse to be the tsn2 feed is playhouse disney, but when you click on it to go to it , it goes to tsn 2, its some glitch im sure, i think they just need to find some where to put it they have the feed going right now. this might just be in my area, but i was watching it today.

Funny that 4 months after this topic was brought up that here in Newfoundland we still haven't gotten Family HD or YTV HD on Rogers. I guess we know which channel to look for it on though. Hope it comes soon!

Disney XD is launching into our great country tomorrow. Coming to Rogers cable first in the provinces of Newfoundland, New Brunswick and Ontario. Happy to live in Newfoundland! Look for the channel to launch on other providers in the coming months!

EuroWorldSport and MediaSet Italia are both owned and operated by TLN. EuroWorld is an original 24 hour soccer channel featuring UEFA Europa, Serie A and other leagues. Mediaset is an Italian feed from Italy with some Canadian Content overnight.

OLN HD will launch June 24th on Rogers Digital Cable in Ontario. The OLN HD feed will be identical to the OLN standard definition signal in terms of programming, presenting HD content when available.
