    IMPORTANT - Insulting other members

    Hi everyone,

In the last little while, I've noticed an increase in the number of insults between members. I'm sure you can quickly find some examples of what I'm talking about if you take a few minutes to read the latest posts...

We currently have 43 active member on the forums and I thank each and every one of you for being here. However, I don't feel we can grow as a community by seeing members insulting other members every change they get. There is enough hatred in the world, I don't wan't to see it in a TV forum. If you wan't to insult others, there's plenty of sites to do it, Facebook, Twitter, etc. but here, you can disagree all you want, it will sometime get into a heated argument but at some point, you need to agree to disagree BEFORE you turn the thread into a insult thread.

I used to issued infractions points (and mostly limited it to a warning) when a member insulted another member but clearly that isn't working. So starting now, insulting another member will get you banned for 5 days. The second infraction will get you banned to 10 days and the last infraction will get you banned from this forum permanently. An infraction expires after a year. Infractions for other rules of the forum remain the same.

I also invite all members to signal infractions whenever you see any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful or threatening. To signal an infraction, find the exclamation point at the bottom of each post or send me a private message with the link to the thread and the post number located at the top right corner of each post. I thank past member who have submitted infraction in the past. I don't read every post here and I you are my eyes (and ears!).

Once again, thanks for being a member here and thank you for your understanding.

We now return to our regular programming...
