Networks are a lot more patient than they were and this basically being a summer show that cost them very little as it is not theirs, it will probably continue. They might move it somewhere else though.
Recap : The series is a limited 10-episodes UK/Canada co-production. On Feb 25th, Fox announced premiere date : http://thefutoncritic.com/news/2016/...20160225fox02/
The same day, Global announced the air date, in simulcast : http://www.corusent.com/news/new-sup...m-etpt-global/
ITV started to air the show March 16th...
The series can be described as a "Murdoch Mysteries"-era drama... you can find it on your own.
The series premiered with only 2.56 million viewers (0.7/2 for 18-49 demo), easily beat by NBC's Voice, ABC's Dancing, a rerun of CBS's TBBT and new Odd Couple. it just performed better than CW's Jane the Virgin : http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...gs-may-2-2016/
Will Fox pull the plug early on the series ?
We had a good run: 2006 to 2020. Thanks for the informations and debates.

I watched the first episode and was not impressed. This show is not a "must see" show. I will watch the next episode, if nothing else is on. I don't particularly like the concept of the show. In particular, the Houdini character nor the fact that an educated man such as Doyle would be trying to get in touch with his comatose wife using fortune tellers.
