In what looks to be the final acquisition for Global's summer schedule, they have picked up the NBC reality/comedy series Better Late Than Never which will premiere following the Olympics on Tuesday, August 23 at 10:00pm for a 4-week run.

    Other notes:
Another NBC reality series, Running Wild with Bear Grylls looks to have been dropped by Global for its third season.

NBC comedy Superstore has a special new episode scheduled to air during the Olympics on Friday, August 21 at 10:30pm. So far, no confirmation if Global will do the same - either Global is looking for a timeslot to air it or will add it the very last minute.

Still with NBC, The Night Shift will wrap up its third and latest season at 13 episodes on Wednesday, August 31. Global has been playing catch-up and will complete the show's run on Monday, September 12.

Finally, You, Me & the Apocalypse (10 weeks) will conclude on Wednesday, August 31 and CBS drama American Gothic will wrap up with a two-hour finale on Wednesday, September 7 at 9:00pm.

Note for Montreal area : tonight and next thursday, WCAX (CBS Burlington) has New England NFL pre-season games. This affects tonight's Big Brother which is time-shifted to 1:37am, TBBT & LiP reruns right after. Also, expect Videotron to screwup simsubs for ET, TBBT and/or BB.

P.S. @ lostjon : maybe you meant Friday Aug 19 in your message above ;)

Global will have the special Olympics episode of Superstore available to watch first online on Friday, August 19. Presumably, it will be broadcast at a later date before the season premiere on Thursday, September 22.

The Superstore new Olympics episode will air tonight Aug 19th on NBC (10:30pm ET) ... Global will have it available for online streaming tomorrow Aug 20.

So, NBC gets the Gold medal, Piracy sources will probably get the Silver, and Global gets the Bronze medal.
Warning: I'm not playing with a full deck.
