L.A.'s Finest (Spectrum Cable) premiered yesterday May 13, 2019. (Bravo now has it set for a Fall debut in Canada - saw the promo banner for it during a CTV broadcast.)
I liked the Pilot episode, but those are the ones that often have the biggest budgets (this one was around $12 million bucks). Nicely filmed, beautiful scenery, lots of mindless car chases and bullets flying, but at least Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union kept me watching even though the script only offered two chuckles (one was the inside joke about the Miami Heat NBA team - Union's hubby is Dwayne Wade) and a generic plot. The meat of this series will unravel as the lead characters' pasts mix with the present. I will certainly tune in to see where it leads.
EDIT: I watched the next 2 episodes and they were much better than the Pilot episode. The plots are better and even the music plays an important part in each episode as it's successfully used to set the mood and maintain a nice blend between the stylish visuals. This series is much better than I thought it would be, so I'm all in.
EDIT 2: I've now seen the first 7 episodes, and although it gets a bit too melodramatic at times, I still like Jessica Alba and the way the episodes are filmed. With only 6 more episodes left, I'm expecting the plot to pick up some steam and return to the better pacing that was present in episodes 2 and 3.
EDIT 3: I've now seen them all, but it didn't really pick up the pace for the final 6 episodes (I watched them all in one sitting, with some fast-forwarding, but not much). They were okay, but there was still too much filler before the final two episodes got a bit better than the previous 4 episodes. It would have been better if the main story was featured in only 8 episodes or less. Thirteen was overkill, and the main plot was stretched too thin. Oh well, there is a Season 2 on the way, but I'm not expecting much.
GRADE: B (7/10 ... But without Alba, I probably would have bailed after the first 5 episodes).

Warning: I'm not playing with a full deck.
LA's Finest is an offshoot of the Bad Boys film franchise, and was initially part of NBC's pilots cycle last year.
Anyways, TVLine reviewed the first 3 episodes and... hated it : https://tvline.com/2019/04/29/las-fi...-jessica-alba/

You Me Her (Audience / Netflix Canada) will end after 5 seasons. **5th and Final season is currently in production**
Are you referring to the same series- You Me Her from Audience Network in the USA?! This show is exclusive to Netflix outside the USA.
EDIT: It appears there is another series with the same name- (https://can.newonnetflix.info/info/80236345/s), is this the one you are referring to as airing on Crave?!
Eeeek ! Why would we talk about the french-canadian téléroman "Toi & Moi" in a US Specialty thread?

Sorry, I didn't know Toi & Moi was a soap opera.
Does this mean that You Me Her airs on both Crave & Netflix- I am officially confused?! The info I found stated that Netflix had secured exclusive rights to the show outside the US- does that not include Canada?! Not really a big deal since the show is officially cancelled but I would like to have accurate information for anyone who watches this and wants to see the final season when it airs.
Season 4 is still airing on Crave Sundays at 11pm.
Often deal on Netflix for international exclude Canada, like in this case.
