Fantastic. On thursday Jan 5, Fox has a 2 hours Hell's Kitchen that Citytv will simsub... but won't bother rescheduling CBS' Mom & Life in Pieces at 10pm or anywhere else... held hostage as usual.

    Hello Rogers ?
After the Superbowl, Citytv simsubs 24:Legacy mondays 8pm with Fox, so The Middle and Real O'Neals in pre-release can't air there for a few weeks. Over CBS, they rescheduled 2 Broke Girls at 9:30pm while Superior Donuts (no canadian broadcaster) takes the 9pm slot.

Guess what Rogers did ? Oh, the 9pm slot is empty, let's schedule a 2 Broke Girls shelf rerun... Euh... The Real O'Neals goes on a shelf for 11 weeks when there's an empty spot ?

Thursdays 8pm slot will be free after Hell's Kitchen finale Feb 2nd. For Feb 9, TV Listings has Mindy Project at 8, but it comes only back Feb 14 on Hulu so it'll be a rerun, followed by an unidentified The Middle episode. Guess that solves it.

Additional City and FX Mid-Season Premiere Dates Announced

    City

Making History: Sundays at 7 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings) beginning March 5

Upon discovering time travel, Dan (Adam Pally, The Mindy Project), a facilities manager at a small Massachusetts college, begins transporting himself back to the 1700s and eventually falls for a colonial woman – but his actions in the past are messing up the present. That woman isn’t just any woman, she’s Paul Revere’s daughter, Deborah (Leighton Meester, Gossip Girl), and Dan’s meddling causes her father to delay his famous ride, which may have altered the outcome of the entire American Revolution. To set matters right, Dan enlists the help of a brilliant, polished, and popular history professor at the college, Chris (Yassir Lester, Key and Peele), who’s now given the incredible opportunity to actually live the history he teaches. Can Dan, Chris, and Deborah save America as we know it? Can a woman from 1775 adapt to life in 2017? Can the three intrepid time travelers improve the past, help the helpless, fight for justice, and find true love and friendship?

Shots Fired (s): Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings) beginning March 22

When Joshua Beck (Mack Wilds, The Wire), an African-American Sheriff’s deputy, kills an unarmed white college student, a small town in North Carolina is turned upside down. Before the town has a chance to grapple with this tragedy, the neglected murder of an African-American teen is brought to light, opening wounds that threaten to tear the community apart. Leading the Department of Justice’s inquiry into these shootings is seasoned investigator Ashe Akino (Sanaa Lathan, The Perfect Guy) and a young Special Prosecutor, Preston Terry (Canadian Stephan James, Selma), both of whom are African-American. As they start to peel back the layers of both cases, they suspect a cover up that may involve some of the state’s most powerful people, including fiercely political North Carolina Governor, Patricia Eamons (guest star Academy®-, Emmy®- and Golden Globe®-winning actress Helen Hunt, As Good As It Gets). Meanwhile, real estate mogul and owner of a privatized prison, Arlen Cox (Academy®- and Golden Globe® Award-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss, The Goodbye Girl), is pulled into the volatile debate over policing in the town, and Lt. Calvert Breeland (Stephen Moyer, True Blood), a seasoned veteran in the Sheriff’s Department, gets caught in the middle of the investigation.

Prison Break (s): Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT (check local listings) beginning April 4

Prison Break is back and ready for its biggest escape yet. In the thrilling new event series, original series stars Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies, Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar, and Paul Adelstein are reunited, as clues surface that suggest a previously thought-to-be-dead Michael (Miller) may be alive. Lincoln (Purcell) and Sara (Wayne Callies), Michael's wife until he was assumed dead, reunite to engineer the series' biggest escape ever, as three of Fox River State Penitentiary's most notorious escapees, Sucre (Nolasco), T-Bag (Knepper) and C-Note (Dunbar), are pulled back into the action.

Note : Making History airs in pre-release because Citytv simulcasts Little Big Shots on NBC at 8pm.

For history purposes, that thu Feb 9 8pm timeslot was replaced with a rerun of 24:Legacy pilot. That episode of The Middle (2/7 on ABC) is scheduled for March 2nd after Mindy, as ABC pre-empts the show next week and a new episode March 7.

Advanced Zap2It TV Listings for next thursday, March 9 at 8:30pm, an episode of The Real O'Neals is showing up there, it's the 2/7-on-ABC episode listed, instead of The Middle... *sigh*
