I'm a big fan of the movie version of Time After Time, so when I saw that they were going to make it into a tv series, I didn't expect to like it, and I didn't. But I didn't think that I would hate it as much as I did. I just watched a few episodes and found it to be too evil for me to tolerate. I only liked the actress that played Jane, and found the rest of the cast to be insignificant blobs of flesh.

But when Amazon Prime (in some other country) released the remaining unaired episodes, I was curious to see if it got any better, so I skimmed through a few of them and then watched the entire final episode (#12), which contained about 10 minutes that held my interest. During that time I thought that perhaps they were finally going to get closer to the vibe of the movie, but then it all fell apart at the end ... which answered nothing and just led into what they hoped would be a 2nd season.

Time After Time was abruptly yanked from the ABC schedule and buried deep, deep underground, where it will hopefully remain for eternity ... at least until a better script and more interesting cast can be delivered.

Cyndi Lauper is probably rolling in her grave ... oh wait, she isn't dead yet.
Warning: I'm not playing with a full deck.
