Looking for new hosting company

Hi everyone,

As mentionned in past posts, I'm more than fed up with my current hosting provider and I'm looking for a new one. I was wondering if you have any recomendations? I'm looking for a VPS.

I recall one pirate site owner mentioning OVH as a good host that allows pirate files, but he doesn't need any customer support (that OVH isn't known for) since his people are top notch wizards that can fix anything.

Anyway, I know nothing about this topic (and there are plenty of confusing Top 10 Hosting/VPS Lists), but what works for one company, may not be a good fit for another. Regardless, just be sure to avoid any of the troublesome ones listed below (unless they've been sold again and are now perhaps trustworthy):

A Small Orange was top notch until it was sold. Slowly but surely, the quality of customer service went downhill. I'll be sure to avoid anything owned by EIG. Thanks for the roundup!

Thanks! We should not have anymore problems with the site and forums now. Turns out is was a cache file that was incremental that grew to 30Gb!!! The cache supression in wordpress and cache plugins deleted individual cache files but not this incremental file.
