Already mentioned somewhere else, but yes, we all know ;)
Come January 2018 it was announced that CBS/Viacom's Spike Tv will be re-launching as The Paramount Network

As expected, we are getting the watered down version of Paramount Network.
According to Zap2it, the mini-series launching the network, Waco, is not going to be shown on the 'canadian version'... Maybe someone else has the rights here, but haven't heard anything.
CRTC has nothing to do with the content of the channel. NOTHING.
Whatever an international channel puts on the air, they must be sure they cleared the broadcast rights for Canada, which is why the yearly Star Wars trilogy marathon on Spike was replaced with Pam Anderson's V.I.P. series marathon, without any paying commercials.

We had a good run: 2006 to 2020. Thanks for the informations and debates.
Maybe if they had enough sense they'd just boot the network out of our country.
Well this channel is even more watered down than Spike TV was. NONE of their new scripted shows have been showing in Canada.
From Waco that opened the network and a comedy I forgot the name. Now American Woman is not showing and the upcoming Yellowstone seems it is not on the Canadian feed either.
We get endless repeats of Lipsync Battle , Bar Rescue and Ink Masters instead of original sho ws.
At least if someone else would pick them up that would be not as bad, but I am not seeing any of those elsewhere. Maybe Netflix but I don't have that.
