The Thursday airings appear to be encores of episodes that previously aired on Global and are just serving the same purpose as NBC did airing them as encores on Saturdays during the regular season. This will be short-lived as the Thursday episodes for the new season of Big Brother take over starting June 28.

Going forward, the remaining new episodes will air Monday 8:00pm. If you go to the show’s page and check out their episode guide on Global’s website, you can actually see the airdates.

    Starting from early March

Episode 14 - Safety Training (OAD: 3/8/2018) Global airdate: April 23, encore June 21

Episode 15 - Amnesty (OAD: 3/15/2018) Global airdate: June 25

Episode 16 - Target (OAD: 3/22/2018) Global airdate: June 11

Episode 17 - District Manager (OAD: 3/29/2018) Global airdate: June 18

Episode 18 - Local Vendors Day (OAD: 4/5/2018) Global airdate: April 5

Episode 19 - Lottery (OAD: 4/12/2018) Global airdate: July 2

Episode 20 - Gender Reveal (OAD: 4/19/2018) Global airdate: July 9

Episode 21 - Aftermath (OAD: 4/26/2018) Global airdate: July 16

Episode 22 - Town Hall (OAD: 5/3/2018) Global airdate: July 23

    Hope this helps.

UPDATE: Superstore season 3 runs Monday at 8:00pm. Season finale episode airs on July 23.

UPDATE #2: Turns out that Episode 7 "Christmas Eve" (NBC OAD: 12/5/2017) has been shelved from Global this whole time. Though it has yet to be updated on Global's website, most listings sites are now showing that Global will be airing it Monday, July 16 at 8:30pm. Imagine that - a holiday-themed episode being burned off in the middle of summer. Keep in mind that NBC has already aired this particular episode twice - they ran an encore back on December 28, whereas it appears that Global never aired it even once.
Of course, this change is only taking effect since the regularly scheduled rerun of Man with a Plan is being pre-empted on CBS with a series premiere encore of TKO: Total Knock Out.

There's no "Summer 2018" thread, so be it...

Broadcast Networks Adjust Monday Schedules For Donald Trump’s Primetime Supreme Court Announcement

Broadcast networks are gearing up for President Donald Trump’s Monday night primetime address in which he will name his nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court. Trump is scheduled to make his announcement at 9 PM ET.

CBS said today it will air a rebroadcast of NCIS: New Orleans at 9 PM, and move a scheduled original episode of Salvation to 10 PM, pre-empting an original episode of Elementary. Comedy series Mom and Man With a Plan will air at their regularly scheduled times of 8 PM and 8:30 PM, respectively.

ABC will air The Bachelorette in its regular 8 PM EST time slot but will break in for Trump’s announcement and return to the show afterward. Both The Bachelorette and The Proposal, which airs at 10 PM, will be seen in full. Local news will begin late on the East Coast, as will Jimmy Kimmel Live. West Coast programming will air as scheduled.

TV Line : « NBC, which only has American Ninja Warrior‘s Minneapolis qualifiers booked for this Monday, has yet to announce any tweaks to its line-up, while Fox as has been the case this summer has a disposable 9-1-1 rerun airing at 9 pm. »

Global already simsubs CBS mondays starting from 8:30pm to 11pm. I expect Global to schedule something else at 9pm, making it easier for BDUs with simsub issues. Elementary pushed a week, CBS will probably wrap it up with a 2-hours finale on Sept 17 before premiere week starting the following monday.

Edit : Global scheduled a NCIS:LA rerun tonight at 9pm (not :NO). In the middle of a 2-hours Ninja Warrior, NBC will hit "pause" and resume after the newsbreak, while I expect CTV to go on as usual (a Detail rerun is scheduled at 10pm). ABC also has a 2-hours program, The Bachelorette, followed by The Proposal, both of which Citytv simsubs. Eventho it's not a live show, I expect Rogers to put on a Cityline while ABC hits the pause button for the newsbreak.

Prior to this change, both Salvation (13 episodes) and Elementary (21 episodes) were set to wrap up their seasons on Monday, September 17. It's always possible that CBS could pull a Lucifer-like move and cap Elementary at a few episodes short while holding over some of them for the following season, since the show was already renewed.

    Among other items:
After Superstore’s run is finished, Global will burn off the remaining episodes of NBC sitcom AP Bio starting Monday, July 30 at 8:00pm with episode 7 that originally aired on March 22. The remaining five episodes should take its run through the entire month of August and into the first week of September.

Based on the show's page on Global’s website, here are the tentative airdates for the remaining episodes (through August 6).

Episode 7 - Selling Out (OAD: 3/22/2018) Global airdate: July 30 at 8:00pm

    Episode 8 - We Don't Party (OAD: 3/29/2018) Global airdate: March 29

    Episode 9 - Rosemary's Boyfriend (OAD: 4/5/2018) Global airdate: August 6 at 8:00pm

Episode 10 - Durbin Crashes (OAD: 4/12/2018) Global airdate: August 13

Episode 11 - Eight Pigs and a Rat (OAD: 4/19/2018) Global airdate: July 23 at 8:30pm

    Episode 12 - Walleye (OAD: 4/26/2018) Global airdate: July 30 at 8:30pm

Episode 13 - Drenching Dallas (OAD: 5/3/2018) Global airdate: August 6 at 8:30pm

Cancelled CBS sitcom Superior Donuts is also set to return for its final episodes in August, with four remaining on the bench, starting with Episode 19 "Pedal to the Meddle" (OAD: 4/16/2018) on Sunday, August 12.

Most likely, it will get the weekend afternoon burnoff treatment as is the case with cancelled shows. By then, Private Eyes will have finished up its latter half of nine episodes from Season 2. The season finale is set to air on Sunday, July 29 at 9:00pm. Meanwhile, The Teen Choice Awards are also set to air on August 12, in addition to original episodes of Big Brother and Shades of Blue.

As already mentioned in another thread, Global has picked up the CBS game show TKO: Total Knock Out, which premieres on Wednesday, July 11.

Finally, Global has been running season 2 encore of Ransom Thursdays at 10:00pm. No word yet on whether the show has been renewed or cancelled.

They continue to run season 2 of cancelled NBC series Taken Saturdays at 1:00pm with one week of back-to-back episodes each month, and another NBC series, Genius Junior, Sundays at 2:00pm.

UPDATE: Global has updated airdates for the remaining six episodes of AP Bio. A rather weird scheduling pattern as it starts with Episode #11 on July 23 at 8:30pm (following Superstore), before airing back-to-back episodes on July 30 and August 6, with one remaining episode on August 13. I am going to assume that Global will use the three earlier episodes from March will air in the 8:00pm timeslot starting July 30 while the season's final three episodes will air in the 8:30pm timeslot. Not quite sure about the logic behind this, as Episode #13 being the season finale will air one week before Episode #10 on August 13.

UPDATE #2: As expected, Global will air the remaining four episodes of Superior Donuts in the afternoon for a few weekends in August. Two more episodes (Episodes #18 and #20) will air on Saturday, August 18 according to the show's episode guide on Global's website. That leaves just one episode (Episode #21) which is now the series finale, to presumably air later in the month.

UPDATE #3: The series finale of Superior Donuts (Episode # 21) will air on Saturday, August 25.

Sunday Aug 12 will be a busy night for Global.
Global will simsub the Teen Choice 2018 on Fox 8pm to 10pm, bumping CBS's Big Brother in pre-release at 7pm. Then, it's NBC's Shades of Blue in simsub with NBC as usual (Award shows usually overruns, if so, Shades won't be simsubbed and 11pm newscasts may be delayed.

CBS also opted for an additional Elementary episode that night at 10pm, most likely due to the July 9 pre-empt, thanks to Trump. That episode will instead air monday Aug 13 at 8pm on Global, a slot used to burn-off shelved winter/spring sitcoms episodes.
We had a good run: 2006 to 2020. Thanks for the informations and debates.

That's odd. After the 11pm "local" news... speaking of which, interesting reading about how the based-out-of-Toronto local news are produced...

Inside The Bunker Where Global Produces Local Newscasts For The Entire Country
    http://www.canadalandshow.com/inside...l-news-bunker/

As I was saying, whenever there's a sport overrun or a president speech delaying "Colbert" on CBS, Global just starts the ET Canada tape of the day to fill the gap. So yesterday night (I went to bed early monday night) at 11:35pm, ET Canada begins... ok, so, I tuned to WCAX 3.1 to see what's happening on CBS, and it's indeed a Colbert rerun, tuned back to CKMI 15.1, still ET Canada... Check on Zap2It, Colbert is scheduled for 11:35pm on CKMI... someone must be ZzZzZz on the switch in Toronto HQ again. Visit global.com, schedule section, and oh, looks like they swapped both shows this week and didn't bother notifying Zap2It about the change. Then, hmmm, let's change station to Toronto... and Colbert is at 11:35pm as it should be.

Then it hit me. I remember a thread on this forum, back when TVViewer was active, Global used to air cable show "In Plain Sight" in the summer, but by the last 2 week of august, some canadian HGTV filler shows were scheduled in primetime instead, pushing "Sight" to 1am or 2am, the explanation we were given was to adjust the yearly primetime cancon quotas on some small-market local stations and Montreal needed some little adjustments.
We had a good run: 2006 to 2020. Thanks for the informations and debates.
