It's Back!


Channel Canada would like to announce the return of our FALL TV PREVIEW mini-site.

The site will feature detailed info on all the hot new Fall shows for both Canadian and American Networks, Fall schedule grids for each day of the week as well as highlights for all your favourite specialty channels.


I have currently posted all the New show info for the American Networks (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC & THE CW) as well as the fall schedules. In the next day or so I will be posting info on CBC's fall lineup. New content will continue to be added through out the next few weeks for the remaining Canadian networks (CTV, City & Global) as well as for various specialty channels.

I like it! Glad the Fall TV minisite is back!

Hopefully you will add those from the French General and specialties networks and those from streaming packages (Netflix, Hulu, Tou.TV, etc.). It's quite simple like design, but I am impress to see this small page back after few years on hiatus. Great job!

I am glad that you like the Fall TV site, I know the design is a little bland but my focus is more on the content- that and my design skills are not that great. I have no problem adding info for the French networks and specialty channels, providing I can find the information. I will have to get Randi to help out seeing as how he is more versed in French then I am.

The problem with the images on the New Shows page for US nets has been corrected. I also added in images for the CBS & CW mid-season shows.

CHCH released their Fall preview yesterday as well, will post that info once I receive it.

I had to search around to find which Canadian has Midnight Teexas and it's Global. The only things I don't see on Friday nights when NBC airs it.

I had to search around to find which Canadian has Midnight Texas and it's Global. The only things I don't see on Friday nights when NBC airs it.

Midnight Texas's 1st season aired on Global, so it was a hint.
- In the NBC section of this forum, we reposted NBC's Upfronts lineup and also the premiere dates announcement, and it's friday 9pm starting Oct 26.
- In the Global section of this forum, we reposted Global's fall schedule published in june (where Chicago Fire+Med were missing, and Texas programmed fri 10pm since it airs at the same time as Hawaii 5-0) and their premiere dates announcement late august where Texas was entirely missing and Fire takes the fri 10pm spot, while Med was dumped to saturday night.

Global could either wait out a new show cancellation to shuffle out-of-simsub shows and put Texas in the 10pm spot, or move both Chicago to saturdays, or shelf Texas and burn it later on saturday afternoons where you least expect it...
My theory : CBS usually programs new episodes until Thanksgiving, then 2 new episodes before Xmas, then back in january with interruptions until may, while I expect NBC to just burn Texas uninterrupted (no break on Xmas if ratings are bad), therefor, it would make sense for Global to timeshift Texas (instead of shelfing it) so they can swap its timeslot for simsub opportunity when 5-0 goes on reruns.
