With Shark Tank being pre-empted for the next two weeks, you figured this would have been an ideal opportunity for CTV to finally burn off a couple of the remaining shelved episodes that they have not aired yet from last season.

So what does CTV do? Replace it with reruns of Criminal Minds... CTV did eventually get to airing some of the shelved episodes for two weeks back in June on a Sunday in a timeslot generally reserved for Big Bang Theory reruns (outside of the NFL season).

Speaking of which, something tells me once Big Bang Theory is no longer on the air next season, CTV is going to find a way to cram more reruns into their schedule, all depending of course on which of their new and returning shows are faring well in the ratings.

And has CTV given up on The Alec Baldwin Show? ABC has a new episode scheduled to air this Sunday, but is pre-empted for a CMA special on November 11. CTV has Law & Order: Special Victims Unit scheduled at 10:00pm for the next two Sundays.

Sure, the ratings are bad stateside, but I guess they must have been just as bad here too, though it was opposite heavy sports competition (NFL, MLB Playoffs, NHL). Regardless, that did not help its chances.

Another Sunday 10pm show bites the dust, joining Ten Days in the Valley from last fall.
