TORONTO (May 11, 2020) – Building on a strong spring season, and with viewership surging for the network’s primetime schedule, CTV unveiled today the first wave of new and returning series headlining the network’s sizzling summer lineup – headlined by the new, high-octane, physical competition series ULTIMATE TAG, airing Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and everywhere CTV content can be found, beginning May 20. The new series, co-hosted by NFL superstar sibling trio JJ, TJ, and Derek Watt, is based on the classic playground game of Chase.

Additionally, CTV announced today the world broadcast network television premiere of the Crave Original feature documentary ONCE WERE BROTHERS: ROBBIE ROBERTSON AND THE BAND airing Sunday, May 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, executive produced by Martin Scorsese, Brian Grazer, and Ron Howard, among others.

Returning to the CTV schedule are fan favourites including the hit dance competition series WORLD OF DANCE (May 26) with Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough, and NE-YO, who introduce new game-changing twists this season including a “Callback Vote” and “Blind Battle”; and the celebrity-filled game show MATCH GAME (June 7), hosted by Alec Baldwin.

NBC starts AGT that night 8pm to 10pm, which Citytv simsubs and wins the BBM Top 30 ratings with it. So, what's CTV gonna program there? Nope, not 2 hours of TBBT crapola (this time), Bell Media looked in the catalogue for really inexpensive show from the last decade, find the solution in the Sony folder, and yahtzee, they found Unforgettable, which initially premiered in Sept 2011 and currently reruns on E! et en français sur Max. Starting at 8pm. Match Game reruns at 9pm.

The previous day, monday, CTV will simsub The CW's rerun of Howie Mandell's JFL for 90 minutes, but oh, how to fill 30 minutes? You know it.

Carter S2 returns this friday May 22nd.
We had a good run: 2006 to 2020. Thanks for the informations and debates.

Unforgettable is very odd choice. Why not show some shows they have exclusive on Crave, some have a few seasons and never been on broadcast. But a show that was repeetad about 20 times each episodes on then Bravo and now on E! like you mentioned...

Can't wait for CSI reruns this fall on CTV!

The Mach Game is not a rerun but most likely the previous Sundays episode which was pre-empted for a simulcast of indiana Jones with CBS.

I think Bell Media is waiting for all US network's respective fall schedule to be out before taking decisions to burn Crave exclusives on conventional television, depending on scheduling holes. Considering Crave is gonna be Canada's home for HBO Max, some selected content from CBS All Access, probably Peacock too.

The CW pushed In the Dark S2 and Pandora S2 to fall instead of their expected summer run, CTV is expected to simsub NBC's run of Transplant and Fox's run of LA's Finest, not sure who picked up ABC's United We Fall but I expect ABC to program some Disney+ shows for the fall... Anyways, CTV might decide to program some Crave exclusives once all pieces of the big fall puzzle are in place. Until then, Unforgettable and some annoying TBBT marathons are expected for the summer.

Unforgettable is also on CHCH (now listed for Tuesday). I re-watched a few episodes last year on CHCH (when it was on Fridays) ... simply because I couldn't remember which episodes I had already seen (I also have many unwatched ones still on my computer).

Bell is generally a lousy programmer ... often skipping E! originals (not even available online via Canadian site) and replacing them with older reruns of various tv shows.
Warning: I'm not playing with a full deck.

OK, CTV's summer is, pathetic, to say the least. On mondays, Fox reruns 911 Lone Star but CTV opted for a TBBT filler at 8, Bob Hearts rerun simsub, Jann at 9 followed by Goldbergs and Criminal Minds at 10.

CTV reruns This Is Us saturday at noon, a Charlie's Angels movie at 1pm, and a low-level cancon movie at 8pm. Sunday afternoon, Spiderman.

So, what about a movie on monday night instead, CTV? You have a 3 hours slot, or 3.5 hours if you scrap the 7:30pm TBBT syndicated crap.

If I'm not mistaken, CTV aired In the Dark last summer after it ended its run on The CW. There's plenty of room during this unusual TV summer of 2020.

In the Dark is starting next week on CTV Drama (Thursday June 4th). Last year it started day and time with The CW on Bravo. They aired it after on CTV like you said.

Not sure why they waited and did not simulcast this year It's not liek CTV Drama has too much original. They only have 1 new show on the schedule, Killing Eve and that ends now, so they still will be at 1 with In the Dark.

I understand they are spreding out originals with the Covid-19, but they literals have thousands of shows they own that never aired on broadcast.

    Mystery solved.
Week of July 13 - 19: Programming Highlights for CTV and the CTV Specialty Channel Group
    https://www.bellmedia.ca/the-lede/pr...annel-group-3/

CTV.ca: All-new comedy series UNITED WE FALL is available exclusively on CTV.ca beginning Thursday, July 16.
Not on specialty, not on broadcast CTV, nor on CTV2, it's an Online exclusive. CTV's wednesday schedule must be pretty busy, right?

    CTV wednesdays
    8pm TBBT
    9:30 Goldbergs (s-ABC, reruns)
    9pm Ultimate Tag
    10pm: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Seriously Bell ?!?! We're having an unusual summer with LESS scripted/unscripted content, you have two broadcast networks to fillup with content, you picked up a fresh ABC show with a simsub opportunity, but you decided to schedule TBBT reruns in the timeslot instead ?!?!

Oh wow. On wednesday Aug 5th, ABC has a whole lineup of shows CTV *could* simsub for 3 hours: 8pm United We Fall, 8:30 Goldbergs, 9pm Conners, 9:30 Housewife, 10pm Agents of SHIELD.

But instead, Bell serves us with this crap lineup: 8pm TBBT, 8:30 Goldbergs (s-ABC), 9pm TBBT, 9:30 TBBT. (+ SHIELD in simsub at 10)
The following wednesday Aug 12 is the 2-hours SHIELD series finale.
On Aug 19, ABC has Democratic convention crap, so, place your bets, what CTV will air weds at 10pm? 2 more hours of TBBT ? 1-hour of Criminal Minds? Or something else?
