    CTV Highlights Mar 8-19

    Spring into March on CTV with a Riveting Prime-Time Line-Up, March 8 – 19


    CTV delivers hot new episodes of HICCUPS, DAN FOR MAYOR and THE BRIDGE to keep March going strong. The Top 12 are revealed on AMERICAN IDOL, while LOST, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES and THE AMAZING RACE move full-steam ahead with new episodes.

    Programming highlights for March 8 – 19 on CTV include:

    • Millie (Nancy Robertson) runs into trouble with the head of her strata council on HICCUPS (March 8)
    • Dan’s (Fred Ewanuick) good friend Jeff (Paul Bates) helps him run his campaign on DAN FOR MAYOR (March 8)
    • Ben (Michael Emerson) deals with the consequences of an uncovered lie on LOST (March 9)
    • The Top 8 females and Top 8 males compete for a spot in the coveted Top 12 of AMERICAN IDOL (March 9 and 10)
    • Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Richard (James Pickens Jr.) are put at odds on GREY’S ANATOMY (March 11)

    Monday, March 8
    8 p.m. – HICCUPS – “Strata’s Fear” – ALL-NEW EPISODE

    Millie (Nancy Robertson) runs into trouble with the head of her strata council while Taylor (David Ingram) struggles to hold up his end of a bargain with Joyce (Laura Soltis).

    8:30 p.m. – DAN FOR MAYOR – “Enter Wheel-O” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    What was going to be a straight-forward race for Mayor gets complicated when more candidates come forward, but luckily Dan’s (Fred Ewanuick) good friend Jeff (Paul Bates) is there to help him run his campaign.

    9 p.m. – TWO AND A HALF MEN – “I Found Your Moustache” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    Charlie (Charlie Sheen) and Chelsea (Jennifer Taylor) have a post-breakup one-night stand.

    9:30 p.m. – THE BIG BANG THEORY – “The Precious Fragmentation” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    When the guys find a ring from The Lord of the Rings at a garage sale, it threatens to tear them apart.

    10 p.m. – CSI: MIAMI – “Getting Axed” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    The CSIs unravel a workplace murder mystery when a hated receptionist is murdered.

    Tuesday, March 9
    8 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – “Top 8 Girls Compete” – ALL-NEW LIVE PERFORMANCE EPISODE

    The Top 8 female contestants compete for the chance to stay in the competition.

    9 p.m. – LOST – “Dr. Linus” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    Ben (Michael Emerson) deals with the consequences of an uncovered lie.

    10 p.m. – LAW & ORDER: SVU – “Confidential” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    When security cameras record footage of a woman being abducted, it isn’t long before Captain Donald Cragen (Dann Florek) and the SVU squad find the woman dead in the basement. Detective John Munch (Richard Belzer) recalls a similar case from twenty years before, sending Detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Christopher Meloni) to Sing Sing to speak to the culprit. He begs the detectives to reopen his case and prove his innocence.

    Wednesday, March 10
    8 p.m. – CRIMINAL MINDS – “Solitary Man” – ALL-NEW EPISODE

    A truck driver is kidnapping women and disposing of them in random locations and the BAU must find out his motive in order to catch him.

    9 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – “Top 8 Boys Compete” – ALL-NEW LIVE PERFORMANCE EPISODE
    The Top 8 males sing their hearts out, looking to win over America’s vote and stay for another week.

    10 p.m. – CSI: NY – “Pot of Gold” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    When a double homicide involving two young journalists who are investigating a story about gold fraud occurs on the eve of St. Patrick's Day, the CSIs must find the clue at the end of the rainbow.

    Thursday, March 11
    7 p.m. – CSI – “Neverland” – ALL-NEW EPISODE

    When a young boy is found murdered, the CSI team uncovers evidence that may link his death to an old case that recently resurfaced.

    8 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – “4 Finalists Eliminated/Top 12 Revealed” – ALL-NEW LIVE ELIMINATION EPISODE
    This season’s Top 12 are announced as four more semifinalists are eliminated from the competition and sent home after America’s vote is revealed.

    9 p.m. – GREY’S ANATOMY – “Push” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    A patient who needs an extremely difficult surgery comes to Seattle Grace and it’s Richard (James Pickens Jr.) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) who vie for the opportunity to tackle it. But the decision lies in the hands of Derek (Patrick Dempsey), who deems that Owen should take on the surgery, leaving Richard bitter. Meanwhile, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) deals with her own personal struggles when she nervously prepares for another date with Ben (Jason George).

    10 p.m. – THE MENTALIST – “Code Red” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    When Dr. Alicia Seberg (guest star Amy Price-Francis, THE CLEANER), a government research scientist, is exposed to a deadly toxin while at work and has only hours to live, she calls Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) and the CBI to find her murderer.

    Friday, March 12
    8 p.m. – GHOST WHISPERER – “Old Sins Cast Long Shadows” – ALL-NEW EPISODE

    A routine estate sale lands Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) in the centre of dark forces battling for the soul of a little girl who’s been trapped in a violently haunted house for years.

    9 p.m. – MEDIUM – “Allison Rolen Got Married” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    Allison (Patricia Arquette) and Joe’s (Jake Weber) wedding is revisited, and as they prepare for their big day, she must also cope with the increasing strength of her “gift” and what these glimpses into her possible future could mean for her and her life with Joe.

    10 p.m. – THE BRIDGE – “The Fat Lady Sings the Blues” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    Frank (Aaron Douglas) is forced to hit the streets and play by the bad guys’ rules after a retired narcotics cop is found murdered.

    Saturday, March 13
    7 p.m. – W5 – ALL-NEW EPISODE

    W5 delves into the world of online gambling in THE JACKPOT, a story that takes viewers from the sandy shores of Caribbean tax haven Antigua, to Quebec’s Kahnawake Reserve, the unlikely world capital of online gambling. In this all new episode, W5 reporter Victor Malarek catches up with renegade Canadian businessman Calvin Ayer, a one-time pig farmer who became a billionaire with Bodog.com, one of the world’s leading online gambling sites. Constantly proving itself as the most-relevant current affairs program in the country, W5 looks at how a small group of Mohawks of Kahnawake have created a gambling Mecca to rival Las Vegas and Monaco, while defying Canadian and American laws.

    Sunday, March 14
    7 p.m. – HUMAN TARGET – “Baptiste” – ALL-NEW EPISODE

    Chance’s (Mark Valley) past comes into focus when he recruits FBI Agent Emma Barnes (guest star Emmanuelle Vaugier, TWO AND A HALF MEN) to help him stop his former partner from assassinating a visiting foreign dignitary. Meanwhile, Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley) tests out a familiar face as a new recruit to the team.

    8 p.m. – THE AMAZING RACE – “I Think We’re Fighting the Germans, Right?” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    Teams travel through France looking to reach their destination, avoiding roadblocks along the way.

    9 p.m. – DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES – “Chromolume #7” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    While in the Big Apple, a chance encounter with supermodels Heidi Klum and Paulina Porizkova leads Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker) to an unexpected revelation about herself. Meanwhile, Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Tom (Doug Savant) are in for a big surprise and Mike (James Denton) is determined to show Susan (Teri Hatcher) what a man he is after feeling emasculated.

    10 p.m. – COLD CASE – “One Fall” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    The team reopens the case of a dock worker who was moonlighting as an indy-circuit wrestler until he was shot dead in 1986, and Valens (Danny Pino) secretly looks into a lead on the man who mugged and raped his mother. Former professional wrestler Roddy Piper and two-time Emmy Award-winner Jay Thomas (MURPHY BROWN) guest star.

    Dan’s (Fred Ewanuick) stand on cats becomes a hot button campaign issue, but he finds two unlikely allies, his ex, Claire (Mary Ashton), and Brianna (Agam Darshi), the niece of his main opponent.

    Tuesday, March 16
    7 p.m. – LOST – “Recon” – ALL-NEW EPISODE

    8 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – “Top 12 Finalists Compete” – ALL-NEW LIVE TWO-HOUR PERFORMANCE EPISODE
    The Top 12 finalists, six boys and six girls, take the stage to perform live for a chance to advance. After the performances, it is once again up to America to vote.

    10 p.m. – LAW & ORDER: SVU – “Witness” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    Soon after a young girl, Laine McAlister (guest star Diora Baird, ROBOT CHICKEN), is raped in her apartment building’s stairwell, Detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Chris Meloni) meet Laine in the hospital and find her extremely shaken with a large cut on her hand. After an unpleasant exchange with a man she claims is her boyfriend, the detectives become suspicious that she may have fabricated her rape to get attention.

    Wednesday, March 17
    8 p.m. – CRIMINAL MINDS – “Mosley Lane” – ALL-NEW EPISODE

    The BAU profiles a child abductor who may have been keeping children for more than eight years.

    9 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – “1 of 12 Voted Off” – ALL-NEW LIVE RESULTS EPISODE
    The Top 12 finalists find out who is safe and who will be sent home during tonight’s results episode.

    Friday, March 19
    8 p.m. – MEDIUM – “How to Beat a Bad Guy” – ALL-NEW EPISODE

    After Allison (Patricia Arquette) is mugged, she decides to take charge by enrolling in self-defense classes. Also, Devalos (Miguel Sandoval) investigates a teenager’s rape and an undercover cop's possible murder.

    10 p.m. – THE BRIDGE – “The Unguarded Moment” – ALL-NEW EPISODE
    Frank (Aaron Douglas) must take over the negotiations at a hostage-taking in order to free a badly wounded cop.

    I hope Human Target is permanent on Sundays at 7pm, I need the room on Wednesday...
