    CBS Summer 2010 Schedule

    'Flashpoint,' 'Three Rivers,' 'Big Brother' dates

    CBS announced some summer premiere dates including the long-awaited return of "Flashpoint" and some burn-off slots for "Three Rivers" (prep those "Hawaii Five-O" trailers!). Here's the lineup:

    Flashpoint will return on Fridays starting June 4.
    "Big Brother" returns on Thursday, July 8, and will air three times per week -- Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
    The remaining episodes of "Three Rivers" will air on Saturdays starting June 5.
    New police drama "The Bridge" gets the dishonor of running on Saturdays starting July 10.

    THIRD SEASON OF CBS's POLICE DRAMA, "FLASHPOINT," START FRIDAY, JUNE 4

    ORIGINAL EPISODES FROM THIRD SEASON OF CBS's POLICE DRAMA, "FLASHPOINT," START FRIDAY, JUNE 4, 9:00-10:00 PM

    Series Relocates to 10:00 PM on Friday, July 16

    Original episodes from the third season of FLASHPOINT, the police drama depicting the emotional journey into the tough, risk-filled lives of a group of cops in the Strategic Response Unit, will begin airing Friday, June 4 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

    In a special, two-hour block on Friday, July 9, FLASHPOINT will air two episodes from 9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT. The series will relocate to its new time period on Friday, July 16 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT). The premiere episode will be rebroadcast on a special night and time on Saturday, May 29 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).

    FLASHPOINT stars Hugh Dillon, Enrico Colantoni, Amy Jo Johnson and David Paetkau. Anne Marie La Traverse and Bill Mustos are executive producers for Pink Sky Entertainment and Avamar Ent, respectively, in association with CBS Television Studios.
    FLASHPOINT premiered in July 2008 and became that summer's top original scripted series, averaging 8.03 million viewers and winning its time period against non-Olympic competition.

    In its second season (January-May 2009), FLASHPOINT won its Friday (9:00-10:00 PM) time period in viewers and key demographics, averaging 9.55m viewers, 2.9/08 in adults 25-54 and 2.1/06 in adults 18-49.

    "Big Brother" to Be Broadcast Three Times a Week - Wednesday, Thursday (Live Eviction Show) and Sunday from 8:00-9:00 PM

    The summer reality hit BIG BROTHER premieres Thursday, July 8 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The new cast will be announced at a later date.
    BIG BROTHER will be broadcast three nights per week: Wednesdays, (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning July 14); the LIVE eviction show hosted by Julie Chen on Thursdays (8:00-9:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT, beginning July 15) and Sundays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning July 11).

    Last summer's edition saw BIG BROTHER grow its audience both on-air and online for the CBS Television Network and CBS Interactive platforms.

    Last year's edition of BIG BROTHER was one of only a handful of programs ever to post growth in its tenth season. Compared to the prior year's edition, BIG BROTHER was up +7% in viewers (7.08m from 6.60m), +4% in adults 18-49 (2.5/08 from 2.4/07) and +5% in adults 18-34 (2.0/07 from 1.9/06). Each of the three weekly broadcasts also posted summer-to-summer growth.

    Online, BIG BROTHER was the last summer's #1 show on CBS.com and across the CBS Audience Network in all key metrics, with 25 percent more unique users and 94% more video streams than the prior summer.

    BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week, the Houseguests vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining Houseguests receives the grand prize of $500,000.

    BIG BROTHER is executive produced by Emmy Award winner Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan in association with Endemol U.S.A.

    "the Bridge," A New Police Drama, Premieres Saturday, July 10

    "THE BRIDGE," A NEW POLICE DRAMA, PREMIERES SATURDAY, JULY 10, 8:00-9:00 PM

    THE BRIDGE, a new drama about a tough and dedicated police officer who is voted to become the police union's dynamic leader, premieres Saturday, July 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

    The series, based on the insights of veteran insider and outspoken former Toronto police union head Craig Bromell, chronicles a charismatic union leader who is working parallel campaigns in a big city police force - battling criminals on the street and fighting his own bosses, and sometimes corruption in the ranks, to protect his fellow officers.

    THE BRIDGE stars Aaron Douglas ("Battlestar Galactica," "Smallville"), Paul Popowich ("Angela's Eyes"), Frank Cassini ("Vice"), Theresa Joy ("All the Good Ones are Married"), Ona Grauer ("Stargate SG-1") and Michael Murphy ("X-Men: The Last Stand").

    THE BRIDGE is produced by E1 Entertainment, 990 Multi Media Entertainment Company and Jonsworth Productions in association with CTV and CBS Television Studios. Craig Bromell, Adam J. Shully, Laszlo Barna, Alan Di Fiore and Robert Wertheimer are executive producers.
