    Cogeco Cable Enhances its HD Offering in Ontario with 26 New HD Channels

    Cogeco Cable today announced the addition of 26 new High Definition (HD) channels to its Ontario HD Line-up. Starting today, Cogeco HD Television customers can get access to History Television HD, MovieTime HD, CBS College Sports Network HD, TLC HD, KTLA HD, WPIX HD, and WSBK HD. Also starting today, the Super Sports Pack will now total 23 distinct HD channels, each one dedicated to a specific sport. The Super Sports Pack is comprised of the NFL Sunday Ticket, NHL Center Ice, MLB Extra Innings, NBA, OHL, Nascar and U.S. College Basketball and Football.

    I sure wish Shaw would start adding more HD channels now. The lineup isn't bad but a few more choices couldn't hurt.

    Wanted: TCM HD, MovieTime HD, KTLA HD, CNN HD, another PBS HD, CityHD, SunHD and then get MovieCentral to have their entire suite in HD since they air so many widescreen movies on the SD channel anyway, indicating they're likely using the HD master on HD and SD.

    Other than that, more specialties converting would be nice and against all hope HD Net Movies would rock :)
