    Too much porn on TMN!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have a problem with TMN excess channel showing porn every night of the week. If I wanted to watch porn then I would subscribe to Hustler etc.... I can't believe that Astral is allowed to show this on their TMN service and that the CRTC is letting them do this. This service is described as a premium movie service but TMN Excess is a porn channel during the night. I think its inappropriate for the intended service to be showing this and they should get back to showing real movies. TMN was once all about movies and now they are filled with HBO content and Porn ! I guess that would be a selling point to some but there are a lot more who disagree.:mad:

    There allowed to show soft porn which there doing.No tmn is not a porn channel at night they only show porn from 12:00 am-3:00 am what there doing does fall under the premoum channel banner.Some may not like it but porn is is a billion dollar buiness and there is a massive demand for it.

    TMN is a premium suite of channels, commercial-free. And yes, they are allowed to air sports events, TV series and adult movies. That's what the customer is paying for: premium commercial-free content.

    Plus, according to your previous thread, you have 7 channels, 5 of them being in HD, and you are subscribed to Superchannel, 2 of them being in HD.

    Your message that started this thread appears by coincidence a few hours after I have posted a message on DHC forum about adult movies on MExcess. Looks like you are once again in a campaign to discredit TMN in order to indirectly promote Super Channel...

    Well, if that's the case, make yourself useful and try to convince Vidéotron to carry Super Channel. I would be grateful.
    We had a good run: 2006 to 2020. Thanks for the informations and debates.

    I onlyhave Mpix now!

    Why the sour grapes I only have Mpix now and no longer wish to have superchannel or TMN . I dont even have superchannel and probably never will again . As for DHC i'll never go on that wasteful site again . Again I never intended to cause you any stress ,just my opinion about TMN and its truly what I believe.

    Adult movies are movies too, you know. Discrediting them as inferior is pretty ignorant. I've seen a fair load of porn that couid rivalize the Twilight movies in term of actual plot. :D

    I remember those days as well. But I don;t agree with it on TMN , it should be on a specialty channel elsewhere.

    They play 2 porn movies and 1 (sometimes 2) half hour soft core erotica show(s) from 1:30 am to about 4:30 am.
    I have a simple solution for you so you don't have to complain like a yutz in the future; If you don't like it, THEN DON'T WATCH IT.

    You make it sound like they are forcing you to watch it. TMN has what 6 channels? Not to mention the On Demand, where there is no porn whatsoever.

    Yes excess has porn during the night. But far from inappropriate, inappropriate would be during the day while children can access it.

    Thats what Hustler and Playboy channels are for. The porn is taking away from the movie offerings that TMN was famous for and HBO is even worse. TMN was a great service a few years back but not worth it anymore. As for the porn I think if you want it subscribe to the porn channels . TMN was originally all movies but its now porn ,hbo documentairies and movie repeats.
