It's about a high school student that decides to purge the world of evil using a notebook that had been dropped to earth by a shinigami (like a grim reaper, basically). A person dies as soon as their name is written in the notebook.
Most of the show is basically an elaborate cat-and-mouse game between the student and the genius, but eccentric, detective trying to catch him. Be sure not to miss it on Friday!Zannen, Canada - Your Canadian anime source!

...give or take 5 minutes. The Star Trek episode of Futurama was on tonight and started at 8:25PM. What is it with this channel starting shows late or more often early, instead of right on time like other channels?
