Yes but I would pay a lot more overusage charges with rogers. So netflix is out of the question. Would actually cost me more money than I'm paying now! What about the boxing I guess they don't have that on netflix? Also Superchannel shows an awful lot of shows in hd which is a bonus.

I'm also with Rogers and I haven't hit the usage limted yet with using Netflix...unless your downloading a lot of torrents(or in your case porn :p) or watching ~32.5 hours of movies on Netflix a week then you have a chance of hitting, also Netflix shows and films are in HD.

Boxing? They still put that on TV? Unless they get a UFC content deal, the channel is still pretty useless for what their charging.

Yeah boxing isn't the draw it once was, and I always preferred HBO's boxing anyway.

Considering a majority of what SuperChannel offers movie wise is available on Netflix and often before it premieres on SuperChannel, has to make you wonder what kind of purchasing deal they've got, obviously not exclusives or anything.

Heck, they could have went that route then made a deal with Netflix for SuperChannel Play or something like Starz has done down south. Mind you, having a sub to Netflix US I realize it's kind of a waste to sub to Starz when pretty much all their content is on Netflix after Starz premieres it. The only thing is the Starz Play movies aren't in HD or 5.1 but still watchable, pretty much the same as DVD quality with stereo/Pro Logic sound .. so basically like the Canadian premium stations most of the time .. lol

I wounder now if they have a content deal with Starz they'll be getting the new Torchwood, seeing that Starz is now a co-producer(sadly)

Likely, new Spartacus episodes go on Netflix day after airing, so I would expect the same from Torchwood.

Super Channel's Strikeforce MMA is superior to the non-PPV UFC and the Strikeforce heavyweight tournament is as good as most of UFC's PPV's. I find it to be a good value.

Of course it is but some HBO fanatics are missing that because they aren't watching it. Too bad for them but good for the rest of us. As for netflix they don't appeal to me at all , it doesn't make sense to stream the movies when there already on your cable box . Thus you avoid extra charges for usage with your ISP. All you have to do is follow the news about netflix and how companies are gouging customers for over usage via internet.:D

True, but UFC makes more money and gets more viewers that Strikeforce.

Again it doesn't matter who makes the most money its about the enjoyment and people have different preferences . Strikeforce is great and so is showtime boxing. :p

I hope someone else can keep up the cause for superchannel and list some new services and shows upcoming for many superchannel fans out there. I have chosen the Netflix option and still get Leverage there as well ,but I will miss Southland a great series.
